Teen Training is for kids and young adults ages twelve to seventeen. One to two teens work with a trainer to create and accomplish physical goals and have fun.
Teen training consists of strength training, functional training, and/or gymnastics. The strength training includes free weights and machines (age appropriate) utilizing proper technique and muscular isolation to increase muscle tone.
Functional training incorporates medicine balls, thera bands, and stability balls to create dynamic weight bearing exercise to develop cardio and anaerobic thresholds and explosive/dynamic strength.
Gymnastics acts as a medium to utilize and evaluate strength gains. Students can use the different apparatus and trampolines for body weight strength, balance, spatial awareness and tumbling skills. All of which creates a well rounded comprehensive young adult training program.
